Issy's Tank Set Wanted List
After playing a healer for several months, I think I'm getting curious and interested to play a tank in WoW. Unfortunately, I haven't had much luck with getting tank drops in heroics or raids going on as a healer. Not every group is going to be happy with me grabbing a tank drop for offset while they can disenchant it into a shard. Besides, there's the problem of crappy drop rate for items I want and also the fact the tank in the group may actually want the item, in which case I have to let him have it.
Going on as a healer does have its advantages when luck permits. I did manage to get some epic drops which would have been difficult to get if I tried going as a mediocre-geared tank. So over the long months, I have a mixture of blues and epic tank gear, nothing too flashy but decent enough to tank easy heroics.
I do not really want to spend my badges on getting tank gear because it is still an offset for me and I would rather spend them on healing gear. So, my other options are farming heroics, raids and getting gear upgrade crafted.
