Smelly Fruit

Music: FFX OST - To Zanarkand

I have a passion for hating the smelly fruit, aka durian. I don't know if you guys seen it before. The fruit seems most commonly available in asian countries. I swear I didn't see it in Australia, which was a major relief to me. Well, I had a late dinner last night since family went to buy dinner back for me while I was feeling too lazy to go out. So they bought my dinner together with that stinky crap. Eeew. I don't know why I hate it, but I seemed to start hating it a few years before I went to Australia, pretty much after my teenage years. There's something purid about the way it smells that's just disgusting to me. I know some people love it. Hell, my family loves it and they would occasionally buy it back to annoy me. Its worse when they decided to stick the leftovers in the fridge! The smell lingers there like .... I absolutely went livid about that. I think I would have won the 100m run yesterday when I ran literally back into my room. Yeah, no amount of coaxing would have me opening that door! No frigging way. Oh well, maybe I'm being childish about it, but I really hate it. I have to endure idiots visitors who bought crap durian cakes, puffs, into my ex-office, relatives' shitty breathe after eating that crap fruit and worse, the smell in the fridge! I think I'm just going to faint now...

I'm more of a fan of durian

I'm more of a fan of durian puff rather than durian. The tingle you get in your tongue, spreading all over your body as you savor the taste... such a sensual experience. Yes, durian is a sensual fruit XD

Well, you're not alone on

Well, you're not alone on the durian's smell. It is absolutely disgusting, and I can't really stand it in the Asian supermarkets down here (they all tend to sell those in the open, so it's a mix of that and various other food items, like apples, bananas, fish... I'm sure you're aware of that setting. :P) I think the worst possibly smelling fruit is old logan or lechee. Those can smell pretty disgusting if you leave them there for too long. It smells like burnt wood with mold growing on it. Ugh.
