Sims 3 was released on tuesday and I had some problem with my DVDrom and couldn't install it until yesterday. Took me a while to get used to the new game and their customization features and then it was fun and fun.
My WoW guild recently posted a thread asking for our summer raiding schedules and I simply said, "Sims 3 is out /dnd", which if I said that in real life, I should probably expect them to throw some rotten food my way.
One of my weirdo guildies said this. "I used to make the best houses ever in the sims 2.. toilet and bed right beside each other in a room with no doors.. then get like 50 guys in the room so they would just take turns poop sleep poop sleep poop sleep with angry emotes.. i think the tiles turned brown. The game was stupid though because they never went to sleep... permanently"
At first I thought he's being insane as usual but then hey, that could very possibly happen in the game and it would be hilarious to watch. So, maybe I'll give it a try but yeah not 50 guys definitely, since it'll probably lag my game so much. 5 should be sufficient to cause a riot.
My first Sims family is an adult pair (sister and brother) and a young female adult who turned out to be the house's fixer, cooking, cleaning/tidying and repairing stuff. The female adult turned out to be the money-bringer home, climbing the business corporate ladder more successful than her brother. The brother is in the sports profession career and still hasn't gained a single rank of promotion. Maybe he's not suited for this career even though it's his inspiration to be a soccer superstar. Poor guy.
Young adult girl wants to be an astronaunt but there isn't a military career in the neighbourhood for her yet, (Either its not there or I didn't see it) so she's stuck working as a waitress in the town cafe and keeping the house clean during her spare time.
