Its been nearly 2 months since I started work and I'm getting used to the hassle of travelling, eating rubbish food outside and snacking junk food - typical working life. Despite gaining a little of weight (I don't even need to stand on the scale to know), I feel happier than I was staying at home wasting away.
At least at this moment, I'm gaining work experience (which hopefully equtes to more $$ later on) and picking up new skills/knowledge.
While I could probably survive on a couple of hundred bucks a month when wasting at home, the same budget just won't work right now. :( Travel expenses, eating out (oh god, food prices in the city is a giant ripoff) and the usual temptations of those small pretty things that I like.
So I'm still really shy and not mixing with my co-workers that much, and these 2 days I get tells from Y! asking me to go lunch.
Co-worker: Lunch?
Me: Too early.
Co-worker: Come on, we're not that scary.
Me: lol err pass.
Well, looks like social-wise, I still got a long way to go.
Oh and that today most of the girls in the office received this QQ email from one of the directors, QQing about the how the landlord practiced double standards of not letting us use the nursing room and having to use the disgusting toilets.
LOL, that was sure entertaining because every girl likes to read some gossip for a laugh every once in a while.
Well I've never being to the nursing room and why would I want to be in it? Its for parents and kiddos, not that I'm one or have a kid. But I do agree that the toilets here are pretty disgusting. To be honest, its not downright disgusting but its still gross enough. I kept seeing those little roaches crawling over the floor sometimes. With the 5th floor toilets just behind a chinese restaurant, I'm not thinking of eating in that restaurant anytime soon.
I don't like those sensor taps they got, its retarded. The water don't come out or don't last long enough while I'm trying to rinse off the soap and I kept having to shift my hands here and down to get the stupid sensor to get the water out. Its retarded and annoying. What happened to those good old press and release taps?
