I say what I want, when I want... If only I can.

Big Project & Medical

Yesterday HR reminded me that it will be 3 months today and I was to be confirmed on their payroll except I still haven't do my medical test. The reason why I didn't do is because the clinic is out of the way and has annoying opening hours that the only time I could make it would be to get up early on a saturday morning, head to town and do the damn test.

I hate new shoes

June's the month of summer holiday and the month of the Great Singapore Sale (GSS). The tourism board organise this massive sale event across the country to try attract visitors to SG to shop, although having a sale doesn't equate to finding a bargain.

I've been wearing slippers to work, while it is stated in my company's rule book that slippers aren't allowed, nobody has said a word about it, except my mother. After I blurted my big mouth and told her I wear jeans and slippers to work, she hasn't stopped nagging at me about how inappropriate dress sense I've got since.

Vexed Start

Last friday I had my performance review at work. My boss told me that I met his expectations on various criteria but he said I have lots of room to improve on on my coding skills. T_T Gotta buck up on that. And he also wants me to take more initiative and ownership of tasks, and he also told me that he is not one to 'spoonfeed' as he doesn't want people to rely on him. Understandable but I also know how tough it can be sometimes and that having a huge well of knowledge to tap on, ie my boss, can be so much timesaving.

Sims 3 Woohoo

Sims 3 CoverSims 3 was released on tuesday and I had some problem with my DVDrom and couldn't install it until yesterday. Took me a while to get used to the new game and their customization features and then it was fun and fun.

My WoW guild recently posted a thread asking for our summer raiding schedules and I simply said, "Sims 3 is out /dnd", which if I said that in real life, I should probably expect them to throw some rotten food my way.

Is it ginger or carrot

Well I was bored this weekend and cooked a meal. Its very rarely that I go into the kitchen to cook a meal and its probably been many months since I last cooked anything, not counting the 3mins ramen of course.

I wanted to cook a simple fish porridge that's tasty and nutrious and doesn't require cooking skill level of a hotel chef. I remembered I used to cook that alot when I was living in Australia but its been so long.
