Busy Busy

Anyway it seems I ran into a bit of trouble this week. I had to attend a cousin's wedding last sunday and was busy as hell trying to arrange my schedule for the day. I had to go for an appointment that dragged over 6.30pm and I have to get to the wedding dinner at 7.30pm in town and I hardly knew the way there. I was so hungry too, and wedding dinners always start late so I knew I had better grab a bite first. Getting there wasn't too hard in the end but it was such a drag waiting it out. Mom wouldn't let me get away even though it ended around 11.30pm and I have to work the next day. She insisted that I stay for some stupid family photo shooting but I managed to slip home.



I ran into some troubles with my forum at DDG. Apparently it got hacked or I don't know what's wrong with it. The database was partially wiped and since I don't have a v recent backup, my host offered to restore it for me. Hopefully that'll be the end of my woes with it. I do need to re-code it though as the code is more than two years old and really outdated.



On Monday, my work laptop's hardrive died, without warning. I just came in and the thing wouldn't boot up. In the end I asked for a brand new drive and was told they didn't have the budget for that. Argh! Luckily that got sorted out quite fast and on tuesday, my new hard drive arrived. We have to fix it ourselves and reinstall windows and all that crap. It took so much time that I'm now chasing my tail trying to catchup on my work.



I'm tired and I still have two more freelance projects to work on. Argh! I just want some time to sleep. At least Maja's helping me with the phpbb skin which means I just need to concentrate on the other one.
