Children of Dune
Children of Dune: Children of Dune DVD cover. Children of Dune is an old show, released in 2003 but the storyline is intriguing. The plot covers a pair of twins (one boy and one girl) heir to the throne but was emboiled in a political struggle with a few powerful clans vying for power. Their mother died after giving birth to them and their father left for the desert. They were raised by their aunt who was now the regent of the throne until either of the twins became of age.
Unfortunately the various clans tried to manipulate them and when they came of age, their increasingly paranoid aunt began to show signs of seizing the power.
I like the various characters especially the twins. The boy, Leto was obviously the stronger of the twins and he loved his sister very much.
If you like sci-fic, give Children of Dune a try.
I remember when this was on here, on the sci-fi channel, that is so old school. Still, yes, it was a very good short series.
