Finally Back

It took me several months to get my blog back up, mainly due to my laziness and lack of interest. However, I made an effort and fixed the missing MySQL tables and now Emotions is back in business.

WOW: PvP is only fun when you're winning

I've been playing WoW for three months now and had leveled my paladin to 70 and started raiding for gear. It's all fun but she is almost totally useless in battlegrounds and in PvP. A paladin is just too easy to control, one fear spell, one stun spell, and she's a goner. Granted, I need to get more resislence gear. Oh well. I don't get to score much kills in a bg or win in a PvP session.

WoW

Blame it on my friend, Tempest but I had given in to the temptation and finally started playing WoW. Its a damn expensive game, the install + the expansion and the subscription. I wasn't sure if I would like the game but now I'm totally addicted to it.

Oh ho, Sims 2 renders

I've nothing better to do, actually I do but I wanna try this for fun. I started with rendering all the characters in Candlekeep Company (play by post game by staff of a forum I frequent) and the idea caught on with members rendering their list of portraits from either WOW model viewer or Neverwinter Nights game and others from private collections of portraits. It is really fun.

The only thing is the lack of realistic armour and the guys turn out looking less outstanding compared to the ladies. Oh well. :/

Sims 2

I've started playing Sims 2 again and am now the proud collector of all the expansions set except the items ones. I have Pets, University, Bon Voyage, Nightlife, Open for Business etc. I've spent a small fortune on Sims 2. >_>

My thyroid gland overworks

I've been feeling rather anxious for no apparent reason lately and I tend to snap at people or lose patience far more easily than usual. As you can expect, these tendencies had caused me alot of social problems. I've been annoying the hell out of family, and friends, and perhaps colleagues as well.

New PC, Finally

After I returned from my vacation from Australia, I found to my dismay that my PC choked. It was working fine and I was still using it hours before my flight to Australia, strangely, after I came back, it wouldn't work anymore.

When I switched on the PC, it seems to boot fine, without making any weird noises but I couldn't see anything on my monitor which still had the power light on. Thinking that maybe my monitor is failing, I grabbed another monitor from the other room and hooked it to my PC. Still, nothing on the screen and I even changed the monitor cable, and still nothing.

New Hairstyle

Well, I finally did it and I've been wanting to change my hairstyle for a long time. I've wore my hair straight almost all my life, and last saturday, I went for a perm. Having my hair permed two other times in my life, both which produced hideous results, I wasn't really keen on trying out another perm but I'm really tired and recently, I had been feeling a little depressed. So, I thought, a new hairdo, might cheer me up...

Japanese Class

After one whole year of waiting and the effort to go for a 3-hour class every week after a full day work, I'm happy to say I finally finished Japanese language elementary part 1. LOL It sounds like a mouthful and it is indeed. I still need to complete 2 more elementary level classes before I can be ready to go take the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) level 4.
